Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is an electronic cigarette?

A: Electronic cigarettes are an electronic smoking alternative.

Q: What is E-liquid?

A: E-liquid is a liquid usually made up of either, PG-Propylene glycol or VG Vegetable-glycerin mixed with nicotine and flavorings.
Once the liquid is in contact with the atomizer and the e-cig is activated it heats the liquid to produce a vapour that is inhaled.

Q: Can they help me quit real cigarettes?

A: Tough question, as there is no real proof as of yet. But there are thousands of people who swear by them and have either completely stopped smoking and vaping altogether or continue to vape away happily with their E-cigs.

Q: Does it taste like a real cigarette?

A: Finding the right E-liquid for you is essential as everyone's taste is different. But there is so much choice that usually a close replacement can be found.

Q: What nicotine level should I start at?

A: Again this will vary from person to person depending on their smoking habit. Best way to find out is to try a few different strength's (12mg, 18mg, 24mg) and just see what works for you!

Q: Why do I keep seeing the numbers 501, 901 and so on?

A: These are threads that your personal vaporizer use, the 501 is the most common thread used (e.g eGo-T) which makes finding accessories really quite easy. Different threads are not compatible with each other unless adapters are used.

Q: What is an Atomizer?

A: An atomizer is a heating element that gets hot and heats the e-liquid into a vapour that can be inhaled, these are usually used with a cartridge for holding the liquid.

Q: What is a cartomizer?

A: Cartomizers are generally an all in one unit (cartridge and atomizer together) standard cartomizers usually have a filler material that holds around 15 drops of liquid.

Q: Whats the difference between a cartomizer and a regular atomizer cartridge setup?

A: Cartomizers are widely regarded as being much better in terms of producing more vapour and throat hit compared to a regular setup. They are reusable but cheap as well, so if you wanted you could have a fresh cartomizer each week.

Q: What is direct dripping?

A: This is a way of vaping where you drip a few drops of liquid directly on to the atomizer through a drip tip and vape away. The downside to this is it can be annoying when out and about.

Q: What is a drip tip?

A: A drip tip is a mouthpiece that attaches to either your atomizer or cartomizer with a hole going straight through for dripping your juice into.
